These high-quality PVCu fittings are engineered for secure and reliable connections within metric pipework systems. Suitable for a wide range of applications, they are available in sizes from 16mm to 315mm and are compatible with both solvent cement and threaded jointing methods. Designed to meet stringent UK and international standards, they offer excellent chemical resistance, long service life, and WRAS and BSI Kitemark certification. Their non-toxic construction ensures suitability for potable water systems and other industrial fluid handling environments.

Installation Overview
Cut and Chamfer: Cut the pipe square to length and deburr. Chamfer leading edge (30°–40°) to avoid wiping off solvent cement.
Dry Fit and Mark: Push pipe into fitting and mark socket depth for alignment during assembly.
Surface Preparation: Roughen the pipe and socket using emery cloth. Avoid excessive abrasion that increases joint clearance.
Clean: Degrease both surfaces with a lint-free cloth dampened in MEK cleaner. Allow to dry completely.
Apply Solvent Cement: Using a clean brush, apply cement to both surfaces quickly and evenly. Use only PVCu-specific cement.
Assemble Joint: Push pipe fully into fitting and hold up to 30 seconds for ≤63mm, up to 1 minute for larger sizes.
Clean Excess & Cure: Wipe excess cement cleanly. Let the joint cure for 8 hours minimum (24 hours recommended) before pressure testing.
Pressure Testing: Test the system at 1.5x rated pressure after full curing. Begin timing only after the final joint is completed.
Safety Precautions: Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid ignition sources. Never use sealing pastes.
Threaded Fittings:
Use only hand tightening or a quarter turn with a strap wrench.
Apply PTFE tape on male threads for a watertight seal.
Do not overtighten; avoid using pipe wrenches.
Never use sealing pastes, as they can degrade PVCu material.
