Brass Geka Style Couplings

Brass Geka Style couplings provide a quick, secure, and reliable method for connecting hoses in a wide range of water and air applications. Featuring the distinctive ‘claw’ design, these fittings allow for simple, tool-free connection - a quick twist locks the two halves together, creating a watertight seal.

Manufactured from high-quality brass, these couplings offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, including construction sites, irrigation systems, washdown areas, and general industrial environments. Their BSPP threaded options ensure compatibility with standard hose tails and adaptors, providing versatility across setups.

Geka style couplings are designed for ease of use, even with gloved hands, and are particularly well-suited to systems requiring frequent connection and disconnection. It’s important to note that Geka fittings from different series are not interchangeable, so ensure all couplings within a system are from the same range.

Fitting Types and Their Uses

There are many types of Brass Geka Style couplings available, such as

  • Hose Tail Couplings
    • Designed to connect directly to the end of a hose, these are the most common Geka fittings. Push the hose over the tail and secure it with a clamp for a leak-tight connection. Ideal for garden hoses, washdown systems, and general-purpose water transfer.
  • Male & Female Threaded Couplings
    • Featuring BSP threads for connecting to outlets or equipment. Male threads are commonly used when attaching hoses to taps, valves, or fixed pipework. Female threads usually connect to components such as hose tails, spray guns, or other fittings. Useful for linking flexible hoses to static equipment or wall outlets.
  • Safety Couplings
    • Safety couplings are variants equipped with extra features for safer operation, usually a collar that screws down to prevent accidental uncoupling.
  • End Caps
    • Used to securely seal the end of a Geka coupling or hose assembly when not in use, preventing leaks, dirt ingress, or contamination.
  • Splitting Connectors
    • Splitting connectors, such as the Triple Outlet Connector, allows a single inlet feed to branch into three outlet lines using the Geka quick-release system.
  • Spray Nozzles & Rain Lances
    • Spray Nozzles & Lances are used to spray water for irrigation, washing and watering tasks.
  • Replacement Seals
    • Replacement seals are available for these fittings, ensuring a leak-free connection between couplings, extending the service life of fittings, and are essential maintenance items for systems using water or compressed air through Geka-style quick-release couplings.
