Barrier Fittings

Plasson Barrier Fittings are specifically engineered for use with reinforced polyethylene (PE) barrier pipes in environments where water supply lines must be protected from potential ground contamination. Manufactured for compatibility with leading barrier pipe brands such as Protecta-Line, SLA, Puriton 2, and Polyguard, these fittings provide a secure and reliable connection in brownfield and industrial redevelopment sites. Lightweight and easy to install, they maintain the integrity of the barrier system while meeting the rigorous standards required for drinking water applications.

Application

  • Contaminated Ground Installations: Ideal for sites with historical or existing industrial pollution, such as brownfield developments, former railway land, and areas with chemical or organic contamination.
  • Utility and Infrastructure Projects: Used in public and private water supply systems, requiring protection from ground contaminants.
  • New Developments on Redeveloped Land: Essential in housing or commercial projects where clean water must be transported through previously contaminated terrain.
  • Regulated Water Installations: Suitable for potable water supply networks that must meet BS8588 and Kiwa Reg4 standards for barrier systems.
