Pipe Squeeze Off Tools

Pipe squeeze-off tools provide a safe, temporary method of isolating the flow in MDPE and HDPE pipework during maintenance, repair, or replacement of fittings. By compressing the pipe wall under controlled pressure, flow is effectively stopped without the need for cutting or draining the system.

• Check Pipe Suitability - Ensure MDPE or HDPE pipe is rated for squeeze off and in good condition.
• Select Correct Tool Size - Fit appropriate stop plates for the pipe diameter.
• Prepare Pipe - Clean and mark the squeeze point away from fittings or previous squeeze areas.
• Position Tool - Align the pipe centrally in the tool jaws.
• Apply Squeeze - Close the tool slowly to compress the pipe to the correct depth.
• Lock and Complete Work - Lock off the tool while repairs or replacements are made.
• Release Slowly - Gradually release the squeeze after work is complete.
• Inspect Pipe - Check for any permanent deformation or damage before repressurising.
