Installation Overview
Preparation
Ensure pipe ends are clean and square. Choose an appropriate valve configuration (compression, threaded, or transition).
Installation
For compression models, insert the pipe and tighten the nut by hand, then secure with a strap wrench. For threaded models, apply PTFE tape to male threads and tighten gently.
Orientation & Positioning
Valves may be installed in any direction or orientation, including vertical or horizontal runs.
Testing & Operation
Once installed, turn the valve handle to ensure smooth open/close operation. Pressurise the system and check all connections for leaks.
