The Fernco (previously known as Flexseal) Access Point, is a specialized fitting designed for creating access into soil stacks and drainage systems where traditional manholes are absent or inaccessible. It is primarily used for inspection purposes, allowing entry into the drainage system for maintenance, inspection, or emergency interventions.

Size Range: DN70 - DN150, catering to a variety of pipe sizes. Material: Constructed from EPDM GF Nylon and 1.4301 (304) Stainless Steel for lasting durability. Pressure Rating: Rated for 1 bar (14.5 psi) pressure. Temperature Range: Capable of withstanding temperatures from -50°C to 80°C continuously, and up to 100°C intermittently. Tightening Torque: Recommended 6Nm. Standards Compliance: Meets BS EN 681-1:1996 standards.
How and Where to Install
The Fernco Access Point is designed for easy installation:
Preparation: Use the provided diamond-tipped core drill to create a 54mm hole in the pipe. The kit includes an arbour and a pilot drill for precise cutting.
Installation: After cutting, use the de-burring tool to smooth the edges. Then insert the pre-assembled Access Point into the hole.
Securing: Tighten the Access Point using the 6mm Allen Key to a torque of 6Nm, ensuring a secure and airtight fit.
Removal and Refitting: The Access Point can be removed and refitted as required for future access.
