ABS Valves Metric

Pipestock’s ABS metric valve range gives you dependable flow control across industrial and potable water pipework. Designed to work as a fully matched system alongside our ABS pipe and fittings, these valves and strainers make it easy to build neat, reliable installations with consistent compatibility.

• Material: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
• Typical operating temperature: -40°C to +60°C
• Suitable for: Food and potable water lines
• Connections: Predominantly metric plain ends for solvent welding (using ABS solvent cement and cleaner)

If you need to divert or route flow between lines, 3-way ball valves are the go-to option.

• T-Port (mixing/diverting flexibility): A T-shaped bore allows flow to be diverted to multiple outlets or combined from two inlets, depending on handle position
• L-Port (switching/selection): An L-shaped bore is ideal for selecting between two flow paths and can provide a full shut-off position

Durapipe TKD DualBlock® versions are built for robust industrial duty with a unionised body for easier servicing.

Georg Fischer Type 543 Pro options add premium features like a lockable lever and strong compatibility for future automation.

For remote switching, timed sequences, or integration into control systems, electric actuated ball valves provide reliable quarter-turn operation.

• Common build: ABS ball valve paired with a J+J electric actuator
• Great for installations needing repeatable on/off control without manual operation
• Important note: Actuated valves are typically assembled and tested to order and are non-returnable

Where you’ve already got compressed air on site (or need rapid cycling), pneumatic actuation is a solid choice.

• Common build: ABS ball valve paired with a Prisma pneumatic actuator
• Ideal for industrial systems requiring quick, consistent quarter-turn actuation
• Often chosen for automation panels and process control environments
• Important note: As above, actuated assemblies are generally non-returnable

The Georg Fischer VXE Easyfit® is a compact, high-performance true union ball valve that’s especially handy in tighter installs.

• EPDM seals for dependable sealing on water and many compatible fluids

• A great all-rounder for isolation and maintenance access

Need to stop reverse flow and protect pumps, meters or other equipment? The SX Easyfit check valve is designed for one-way flow control.

Air in a pressurised line can cause noise, restriction, and efficiency problems. The SXA Easyfit air release valve helps vent trapped air automatically.

• Useful on rising mains, plant rooms, and systems prone to air pockets
• Helps reduce issues linked to airlocks and inconsistent flow

Strainers are the unsung heroes of valve and pump longevity. The UV Y-type strainer filters out sediment, scale and particles before they reach sensitive components.

• Protects actuated valves, meters, and pumps from debris damage
• Designed for in-line servicing, so maintenance is simpler
• Metric plain ends keep it fully compatible with ABS solvent-weld pipework

For flow control applications where you want fine adjustment and consistent sealing, diaphragm valves are a strong option.

• Diaphragm isolates the mechanism from the fluid for cleaner operation
• Dialock handle helps prevent over-tightening and supports controlled closing
• Well suited to systems where frequent operation is expected

This dual-function valve supports pressure control in systems that need either:

• Pressure loading (building back pressure), or
• Pressure relief (protecting downstream equipment from over-pressure)

With a spring-loaded, adjustable set pressure, it’s a practical choice for process stability and protection in ABS pipework.

For larger sizes and fast quarter-turn control, butterfly valves are a space-efficient alternative to ball valves.

• FK Butterfly Valve (lever): quick isolation/throttling with a simple handle
