Installation Overview

  • Thread Preparation

Clean both male and female threads before installation.
Apply PTFE tape to male threads (avoid sealing paste, which may degrade the plastic).

  • Assembly

Hand-tighten the fitting onto the male thread.
If required, use a strap wrench to gently tighten—do not overtighten as this can damage the threads.

  • Hose Connection (if applicable)

Fit the hose over the barbed adaptor and secure with a jubilee clip or suitable hose clamp.

  • Testing and Use

Once assembled, pressure test the system at its intended operating pressure.
Check for leaks and inspect for proper alignment before final commissioning.
