Axilock-S couplings, from Teekay, are used to connect plain-end pipe lengths together with speed and ease without the need for gluing or fusion technology. The 'S' in Axilock-S denotes that the couplings are single casing fittings. Double casing versions are also available.
They incorporate grip rings at either end of the fitting and a rubber lining throughout, locking the pipes in position ensuring corrosion resistance throughout the life of the coupling.
These couplings are suitable for use with pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, cast and ductile iron as well as most plastics.
Applications for these fittings include water and building industries as well as engine installations and ship systems.
