Plasson Compression Fittings

Plasson Compression Fittings provide a durable and versatile solution for connecting polyethylene (PE) pipes across a broad range of fluid handling applications. Designed for performance, longevity, and ease of installation, these fittings are capable of withstanding working pressures up to 16 bar. The range includes straight connectors, tees, elbows, adaptors, and integrated valves, enabling flow control and secure pipework connections without the need for heat fusion or specialist tools. These WRAS-approved fittings are precision-engineered to deliver leak-free service under demanding site conditions.

Installation Overview

  • Preparation: Cut PE pipe square and remove any burrs. Mark the insertion depth based on the fitting size to ensure full engagement.
  • Disassembly (if needed): Loosen the nut and remove the internal components (grip ring and support sleeve, if included).
  • Assembly: Slide the compression nut and grip ring onto the pipe. Insert the pipe into the fitting body until it reaches the internal stop. Tighten the nut by hand, then finish with a wrench until secure—avoid overtightening.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Once assembled, pressure test the system up to 1.5 times the working pressure to verify integrity. Suitable for both above- and below-ground installations.
