PP Pipe Inch Natural

Our PPH Natural Pipe (inch) range is designed for demanding industrial environments where chemical resistance, material purity and reliable pressure performance are essential. Manufactured from polypropylene block copolymer (PP-B), these pipes offer an excellent balance of strength, durability and flow efficiency, making them ideal for conveying hot, corrosive and aggressive process fluids.

Supplied in natural (unpigmented) polypropylene, this pipe system is particularly well suited to applications where contamination must be minimised, such as chemical processing, pharmaceutical production and laboratory installations. All pipes in the range are manufactured in accordance with BS 4991:1974 Series 1, ensuring consistent dimensions and dependable performance across installations.

Polypropylene is a high-performance thermoplastic widely used in industrial pipework due to its outstanding chemical resistance, impact strength and thermal stability. The PP-B formulation used in this range provides enhanced toughness, allowing the pipework to perform reliably under fluctuating temperatures and pressures.

A smooth internal bore helps reduce friction losses, supporting high flow rates and improved system efficiency, even over longer pipe runs. Unlike metal pipework, polypropylene will not corrode, scale or degrade when exposed to aggressive chemicals, resulting in a long service life with minimal maintenance.

Note: PPH Natural pipe is not recommended for outdoor use unless adequately protected from UV exposure.

To suit different system requirements, our PPH Natural Pipe range is available in three pressure classes:

• Class B - 6 Bar
  • Suitable for moderate-pressure industrial systems, Class B pipe provides a cost-effective solution for chemical transfer and process applications where purity and chemical compatibility are critical
• Class C - 9 Bar
  • A step up in pressure performance, Class C pipe is ideal for more demanding installations, offering increased pressure capacity while maintaining excellent flow efficiency and chemical resistance
• Class D - 12 Bar (Heavy Gauge)
  • Designed for higher-pressure and more intensive duty cycles, Class D features a heavy-gauge wall thickness for added strength and safety margins in critical process lines
