EPDM Gaskets

EPDM gaskets play a crucial role in creating reliable, leak-free joints within ABS pipework, ensuring long-term performance even in demanding environments. Manufactured from ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM), these gaskets offer excellent elasticity, long service life and strong resistance to UV exposure, wear, and adverse weather conditions. This makes them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor installations, particularly where water or mild chemicals are conveyed.

Designed for compatibility with ABS flanges and backing rings, each gasket provides a secure and consistent sealing interface once bolted in place. For a complete installation, remember to select the correct flange, backing ring and bolt set before checking out.

To suit different flange standards and installation requirements, three variations are available:

EPDM Stub Flange Gasket

A compact sealing ring used between an ABS stub flange and backing ring

• Ideal for standard ABS systems where a raised-face style seal is preferred
• Creates a durable seal while maintaining minimal joint thickness
• Commonly used in both imperial and metric ABS installations

EPDM Gasket Full Face PN10/16 (BS EN 1092-1)

A full-face gasket with bolt holes around its perimeter to align with PN10/16 flanges

• Provides maximum sealing surface and excellent joint stability
• Suitable for systems built to BS EN 1092-1 drilling patterns
• Useful for applications where flange rigidity and even load distribution are essential

EPDM Gasket Full Face D & E (BS 10 Table D/E)

Designed to suit ABS flanges drilled to BS 10 Table D/e standards

• Full-face design with accurately positioned bolt holes
• Ideal for legacy systems, specific industrial applications or matching existing BS 10 pipework
• Ensures a consistent and reliable seal when paired with ABS full-face or blank flanges

• Strong resistance to ageing, ozone and outdoor exposure
• Excellent flexibility and resilience across a wide temperature range
• Suitable for water and many non-aggressive fluids
• Provides a dependable long-term seal with minimal maintenance
