Description
This EPDM stub flange gasket is designed to form a reliable seal between two ABS stub flanges when assembling a flanged joint. Manufactured from high-quality EPDM rubber, the gasket provides excellent flexibility, resilience and resistance to a wide range of process media, making it suitable for industrial water systems, treatment plants and general ABS installations.
When used in conjunction with two ABS stub flanges, two galvanised backing rings and an appropriate bolt set, the gasket sits between the flange faces to ensure uniform sealing under compression. It is an essential component for achieving a secure, leak-tight flanged joint. The ABS stub flanges must be solvent welded to the pipe ends using ABS solvent cement and cleaner to ensure proper bonding before assembly.
