Why Block Copolymer Polypropylene (PP-B)?

Polypropylene is available in several material forms, each offering different performance characteristics:

  • PP-B (block copolymer) - superior impact resistance and durability

Chemical Resistance Performance

Polypropylene is widely used in industrial pipework due to its outstanding chemical resistance:

  • Very low water absorption
  • Minimal material degradation in aqueous solutions

While PP performs extremely well in most applications, strong oxidising agents at elevated temperatures can cause degradation. For aggressive or specialist chemical duties, technical advice is recommended.
