PVDF Fittings

At Pipestock we are pleased to present a range of PVDF fittings from the world-renowned manufacturer Tefen. Engineered from high-performance polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), these fittings are designed to meet demanding industrial requirements. The range operates across a working temperature band of -20 °C to +120 °C and can withstand maximum working pressures of up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 12 °C, with BSPT thread options available. With excellent chemical resistance and temperature stability, these PVDF fittings are ideally suited to corrosive environments and challenging process-media - particularly in chemical processing, fluid handling and instrumentation applications.

What is PVDF?

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer known for its exceptional strength, chemical resistance, and stability across a wide temperature range. It is naturally resistant to acids, bases, solvents, and UV radiation, making it an ideal material for harsh or corrosive environments. PVDF also offers excellent mechanical properties, low permeability, and high purity, which is why it’s commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, water treatment, pharmaceuticals, and electronics manufacturing.

Why Use PVDF Instead of Nylon/Polypropylene Fittings
