This plain x BSP union with EPDM seal is designed to connect solvent welded Corzan CPVC pipework to BSP threaded components while providing a reliable elastomeric seal at the joint. It is particularly suited to applications where regular disassembly may be required and where a positive, gasketed seal offers advantages over metal-to-metal threaded connections.

The plain socket end is solvent welded to CPVC pipe using PVC-C solvent cement and Eco-Cleaner, forming a strong and permanent bond. The BSP threaded end incorporates an EPDM seal, helping accommodate minor alignment variations while maintaining a secure, leak-tight connection under pressure.

Manufactured from high-performance Corzan CPVC, the union delivers excellent resistance to corrosive chemicals, elevated temperatures and industrial fluids. Its non-toxic, taint-free formulation also makes it suitable for potable water systems.
