Description
The HTA 90° reducing tee is designed to form a perpendicular branch connection where a reduction in pipe diameter is required within pressurised hot and cold water systems. Manufactured from high-performance CPVC, it combines excellent pressure resistance with long-term dimensional stability across a wide temperature range.
The internal design promotes controlled flow transition between different pipe sizes, helping to limit turbulence, manage pressure changes and maintain overall system efficiency. Its smooth bore discourages limescale accumulation and biofilm development, supporting hygienic water distribution and reduced maintenance over the system lifespan.
Manufactured as part of the HTA system by Aliaxis, this reducing tee integrates seamlessly with compatible HTA pipes and valves. Lightweight construction and solvent weld installation allow for fast, reliable assembly without the need for hot works, making it a practical and cost-effective alternative to traditional copper pipework.
