Description
Durapipe welding polymer is a purpose-formulated solvent cement designed specifically for use with HTA CPVC pipe and fittings. It creates strong, permanent joints by chemically welding the pipe and fitting together, ensuring reliable performance in hot and cold water systems operating at pressure.
Supplied in convenient 250ml and 1 litre tins, this welding polymer supports clean, efficient installation without the need for power tools or hot works. When applied correctly, it produces a smooth internal joint that maintains flow efficiency and helps prevent the build-up of limescale or corrosion within the system.
As part of the HTA installation process, Durapipe welding polymer is WRAS approved for potable water use and complies with Common Arrangements of Works Systems (CAWS) standards S10 and S365, making it suitable for use on regulated water projects.
