Description
The HTA 45° elbow is designed to introduce gradual directional changes within pressurised hot and cold water pipework. By reducing the severity of flow deviation compared to a 90° bend, it helps maintain smoother hydraulic performance while supporting reliable operation at high temperatures and pressures.
Manufactured from high-grade CPVC, the fitting offers excellent resistance to corrosion, scaling and chemical attack. Its smooth internal surface assists in minimising frictional losses and discourages biofilm formation, contributing to improved hygiene and long-term system efficiency.
Produced as part of the HTA system by Aliaxis, this elbow integrates seamlessly with compatible HTA pipes and valves. Lightweight construction and straightforward solvent weld assembly allow for fast installation without hot works, making it a practical and cost-effective alternative to traditional copper systems.
