Description
Designed specifically for face-to-face flange connections, this backing ring set provides a reliable and cost-effective method of joining PVCu pipework systems. The solvent-weld PVCu stub flanges create a strong, permanent connection to the pipe when installed with the correct solvent cement and cleaner, while the galvanised steel backing rings deliver the required strength and rigidity at the bolted joint.
The EPDM gasket ensures a dependable seal between the flange faces, making the assembly suitable for potable water and general industrial applications. These sets are supplied with correctly sized bright zinc-plated steel bolts to match the flange size, helping to ensure correct alignment and secure installation.
These sets are designed for just face-to-face flange connections. The bolt lengths are not long enough to sandwich in a valve or any other piece of kit between the faces of the flanges.
