Description
This polypropylene plain x BSP barrel nipple is used to create a transition between a metric PP pipe or fitting and a BSP threaded connection. It is particularly useful where polypropylene pipework needs to be connected to threaded valves, instruments or other BSP-threaded components.
Manufactured from high-quality PP-B (polypropylene block copolymer), the fitting offers excellent impact resistance and chemical compatibility, even at lower temperatures. The plain end is suitable for socket fusion welding, while the BSP threaded end allows straightforward connection to female threaded fittings.
Rated to 6 bar, this barrel nipple is intended for low-pressure systems where corrosion resistance, ease of installation and long service life are required.
