Description
The Vulcathene 4.5L Dilution Recovery Trap with Glass Base is designed for chemical waste systems where both high recovery capacity and visual inspection of solids are required. Featuring a clear, heat-resistant borosilicate glass base, this unit allows the accumulation of solids to be easily monitored and assessed without dismantling the trap.
With a 4.5 litre holding capacity and a 76mm liquid seal, the trap provides effective anti-siphonic protection while accommodating larger volumes of waste. The transparent base enables rapid identification, removal, or recovery of solids before they can compromise downstream pipework, making it particularly suitable for laboratory and process environments.
The 910G model is supplied with a removable lid and gasket seal, secured by a stainless steel clamp. This clamp can be released quickly to allow straightforward access for inspection and maintenance. Cleaning is carried out by disconnecting the union nuts on the lid, withdrawing the dip tubes, and carefully flushing the interior of the dilution chamber.
The outlet connection is 51mm and is supplied with a nut and olive for ease of installation. Dip tubes, vertical inlets, horizontal inlets, and blanking-off plugs are not supplied as standard and should be ordered separately to suit the specific installation requirements.
Manufactured from chemically resistant co-polymer polypropylene and borosilicate glass, the trap is well suited to aggressive chemical waste streams and continuous service in demanding environments.
