Description
This Enfusion swept loose nut bend is designed to provide a directional change while allowing direct connection to threaded Vulcathene components within chemical waste drainage systems. It combines the security of electrofusion jointing with the practicality of a demountable threaded connection, making it ideal where equipment access or future maintenance may be required.
The fitting features an Enfusion socket at one end, which is fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. The controlled electrofusion process energises the integral resistance wire moulded into the socket, delivering a consistent and reliable joint. The opposite end incorporates a captive loose nut, allowing straightforward connection to compatible Vulcathene threaded units without the need for additional adapters.
Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the swept bend offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. Its swept profile supports smoother flow through the change of direction while maintaining compact installation geometry.
