Description

This Enfusion slow bend is designed to connect two lengths of Vulcathene pipe through a 135° change of direction, providing a more gradual transition than standard right angle bends. Its geometry supports smoother flow paths and is particularly useful where direction changes need to be spread over a longer run to minimise disturbance within the system.

The fitting features Enfusion sockets at both ends, allowing each joint to be fully fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During installation, the integral resistance wires moulded into the sockets are energised to deliver a controlled electrofusion process, ensuring consistent fusion temperature, time and joint quality at both connections.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the slow bend offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. In installations where pipework is buried, routed overhead, installed within ceiling voids or positioned within drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a secure and dependable alternative to mechanical connections.
