This Enfusion single Y is designed to connect three Vulcathene pipes, with the centre branch set at a 45° angle to promote a smoother, more directional flow into the main run. This configuration is particularly effective where branch connections need to enter the system gradually, helping to reduce turbulence and improve overall flow behaviour.

All three branches are formed with Enfusion sockets, allowing each connection to be fully fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During installation, the integral resistance wires moulded into the sockets are energised to deliver a controlled electrofusion process, providing consistent fusion temperature, time and joint quality across every connection.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the single Y offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. Where pipework is buried, routed overhead, installed within ceiling voids or positioned within drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a secure and dependable alternative to mechanical connections.
