Description
This Enfusion short swept bend is designed to connect two Vulcathene pipes at a 92.5° angle where space constraints require a more compact change of direction. Its reduced sweep radius makes it ideal for tight installations while still delivering reliable flow performance within chemical waste drainage systems.
The fitting is manufactured with Enfusion sockets at both ends, allowing each joint to be fully fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During installation, the integral resistance wires moulded into the sockets are energised to create a controlled electrofusion process, producing consistent joint quality with precise control over fusion time and temperature.
Constructed from black co-polymer polypropylene, the short swept bend provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and elevated operating temperatures. In applications where pipework is installed overhead, concealed within ceiling voids, buried or incorporated into drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing offers a dependable alternative to mechanical connections.
