Description
This Enfusion reducing swept tee is designed to connect three Vulcathene pipes while reducing the diameter on the centre branch, allowing a smooth transition from a larger main run into a smaller branch line. The swept branch profile helps guide flow efficiently through the junction, reducing disruption within the drainage system.
All three connections are formed with Enfusion sockets, enabling each joint to be fully fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During installation, the integral resistance wires moulded into the sockets are energised to deliver a controlled electrofusion process, providing consistent fusion time, temperature and joint quality across every connection.
Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the reducing swept tee offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. Where pipework is buried, routed overhead, installed within ceiling voids or located within drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a robust alternative to mechanical connections.
