This Enfusion one socket short bend is designed to change the direction of Vulcathene chemical waste pipework through a 92.5° angle where space is limited and a compact fitting is required. It features an Enfusion socket on one end for electrofusion jointing, with a spigot end that is fused into a compatible Enfusion socket.

Fusion is carried out using the Enfusion Control Unit, which heats the integral resistance wire moulded into the socket to create a controlled and repeatable bond between pipe and fitting. This electrofusion process delivers consistent joint quality, ensuring strength and reliability at the most critical point in the system.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the short bend offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. In installations where pipework runs overhead, within ceiling voids, buried routes or vertical drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a secure alternative to mechanical connections.
