Description
This Enfusion long swept bend is designed to connect two lengths of Vulcathene pipe at a 92.5° angle while maintaining smooth internal flow characteristics through the change of direction. The long radius profile helps reduce turbulence and resistance, making it particularly suitable for larger diameters and high-flow chemical waste applications.
The fitting incorporates Enfusion sockets at both ends, allowing each connection to be fully fused to the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During jointing, the integral resistance wires moulded into the sockets are energised to deliver a controlled electrofusion process, ensuring consistent temperature, fusion time and fit at both joints.
Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the long swept bend offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and elevated operating temperatures. Where pipework is routed overhead, buried, installed within ceiling voids or positioned within drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a dependable alternative to mechanical connections.
