This Enfusion drilled flange is designed to provide a ready-made flanged connection within Vulcathene chemical waste drainage systems, allowing quick and accurate alignment to mating flanges without the need for on-site drilling. It is commonly used where pipework connects to pumps, vessels, valves or other flanged equipment requiring a consistent bolt pattern.

The flange is fused directly to Vulcathene pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. During jointing, the integral resistance wire moulded into the Enfusion socket is energised to deliver a controlled electrofusion process, ensuring consistent fusion temperature, time and joint integrity at the pipe interface.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the drilled flange offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. In installations where pipework is buried, routed overhead, installed within ceiling voids or located in drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a secure and dependable alternative to mechanical connections.

Once installed, the flange is clamped to the mating flange using a nitrile gasket and four M20 bolts, creating a reliable sealed joint while maintaining accessibility for inspection or future disassembly.
