Description
Designed for use within chemical waste drainage installations, this Enfusion coupling provides a permanently fused, high integrity joint where reliability is critical. It is purpose designed for laboratory, healthcare, educational and industrial environments where aggressive chemicals, elevated temperatures and concealed pipework demand maximum joint security.
The fitting incorporates an internal pipe stop, ensuring correct insertion depth and forming a smooth through-bore that minimises turbulence and reduces the risk of waste build-up. Jointing is achieved using a microprocessor controlled Enfusion Control Unit, which energises the integral resistance wire moulded into the socket to create a consistent, controlled fusion between the pipe and fitting.
This electrofusion method offers exceptional performance at the joint interface, delivering controlled fit, temperature and fusion time for repeatable, high-quality joints. Where pipework is installed overhead, buried, or located within ceiling voids or drainage stacks, Enfusion provides a preferred alternative to mechanical jointing methods.
