Designed to connect threaded components to Vulcathene pipework, this Enfusion coupling x male thread provides a secure transition between BSP threaded fittings and fused chemical waste drainage systems. It is commonly used where equipment, traps or ancillary components with threaded connections need to interface with Vulcathene pipework.

The fitting features an Enfusion socket on one end and a moulded BSP male thread on the other. Fusion to the pipe is achieved using the Enfusion Control Unit, which energises the integral resistance wire within the socket to create a controlled electrofusion bond. This process delivers consistent fusion time, temperature and fit, producing a high integrity joint within minutes.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the fitting offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated temperatures. Where pipework is buried, installed overhead in ceiling voids, or located within drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing provides a reliable alternative to mechanical connections.
