This Enfusion coupling with BSP female thread is designed to introduce threaded components into Vulcathene chemical waste drainage systems while maintaining the security of a fused joint. It is typically used where equipment, accessories or traps with male threaded connections need to be incorporated into Enfusion pipework.

One end of the fitting features an Enfusion socket, which is fused directly onto the pipe using the Enfusion Control Unit. The controlled electrofusion process energises the integral resistance wire moulded into the socket, producing a consistent and high integrity bond. The opposite end is formed with a BSP female thread, allowing straightforward connection to compatible threaded fittings.

Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, the fitting provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemical waste and elevated operating temperatures. In applications where pipework is concealed, buried, or routed overhead within ceiling voids or drainage stacks, Enfusion jointing offers a dependable alternative to traditional mechanical connections.
