Description
This fitting is designed to provide a secure, pressure-rated connection through the wall of a tank, vessel or enclosure while transitioning from metric PVC pipework to an imperial threaded outlet. Manufactured from high-quality PVCu, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals and mechanical stress, making it suitable for demanding applications.
The plain metric socket allows for a permanent solvent weld connection to PVC pipe when installed using the correct solvent cement and cleaner, while the threaded section enables secure mounting through tank walls and connection to threaded pipework or fittings. When installed with appropriate sealing washers or gaskets, the connector forms a reliable, watertight seal across the tank wall.
