PVC Standard 2-Way Ball Valve

Standard double union ball valves are designed to allow the valve body to be fully demounted from a pipeline, making them suitable for applications where refurbishment, maintenance or replacement may be required. With union connections on both sides, the valve can be removed without cutting or disturbing the surrounding pipework. Manufactured from PVCu, these valves offer excellent durability and chemical resistance for use across a wide range of industrial and commercial fluid handling systems. Supplied with EPDM seals as standard (FPM replacements are available), they provide reliable sealing performance when installed and operated within recommended conditions. The plain union ends are intended for solvent welding, forming strong, permanent joints when correctly installed using solvent cement and cleaning fluid.

These valves feature a locking end that allows the torque applied to the internal ball to be adjusted according to system pressure. Before installation, the locking end should always be checked and tightened if necessary, as insufficient torque may result in leakage. For added convenience, the valve handle can be removed and used as a spanner to tighten the locking end during setup or adjustment. The ergonomically designed teardrop handle ensures a secure grip and smooth operation, with a clear visual indication of valve position.
