Description

This polypropylene 90° tee fitting is used to form a branch connection within metric PP pipe systems, allowing three pipes of equal diameter to be joined at right angles. Manufactured from high heat stabilised PP-B material, it is designed for pressure-rated applications handling aggressive chemicals and elevated operating temperatures.

The tee configuration enables efficient distribution or diversion of flow while maintaining consistent internal geometry. When fusion welded, the fitting forms a continuous, homogenous joint that delivers long-term strength, leak resistance and excellent chemical compatibility across the system.

Unlike metallic alternatives, polypropylene tees are resistant to corrosion, scaling and chemical attack, helping to extend service life and reduce maintenance requirements. The material’s flexibility also allows it to absorb thermal expansion and mechanical stress, supporting reliable performance in demanding industrial installations.

Key Features & Benefits

  • 10 bar pressure rating: Suitable for pressure-rated polypropylene pipe networks
  • Branching capability: Allows flow to be split or combined at a 90° angle
  • PP-B material: Block copolymer construction improves impact resistance, particularly in colder conditions
  • Wide operating temperature range: Performs reliably from -20°C up to 120°C in continuous service
  • Fusion welded joints: Creates a strong, permanent connection with excellent chemical resistance
  • Smooth bore design: Helps maintain flow efficiency through the branch connection
  • Corrosion free: Will not rust, scale or degrade when exposed to aggressive media
  • Lightweight construction: Simplifies handling and speeds up installation
  • Industrial suitability: Commonly used in chemical processing, laboratories, water treatment, food production and manufacturing pipe systems
