Description
This polypropylene reducing bush is used to transition between different pipe diameters within metric PP pressure systems. Manufactured from high heat stabilised PP-B material, it provides a compact and reliable solution for reducing line size without introducing unnecessary complexity into the pipework layout.
The bush can be installed within compatible PP fittings or used to connect pipes of differing diameters, allowing system designers to adapt flow capacity while maintaining pressure integrity. When fusion welded, it forms a continuous, homogenous joint that delivers long-term mechanical strength and excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals.
Polypropylene’s corrosion resistance and dimensional stability make this fitting well suited to demanding industrial environments where metallic reducers may suffer from chemical attack or scaling. Its ductile properties also help accommodate thermal expansion and system movement, supporting reliable performance over the life of the installation.
