Description
This fitting is designed to reduce from a metric PVC solvent weld connection to a smaller imperial threaded outlet within a pressurised pipework system. Manufactured from high-quality PVCu, it provides a compact, durable and corrosion-resistant solution for adapting between metric pipework and BSPP threaded components.
The plain metric socket allows for a permanent solvent weld joint, while the integral imperial BSPP thread provides a secure interface for valves, fittings or equipment connections. Its short, reducing profile helps minimise overall system length while maintaining efficient flow characteristics and pressure performance.
Part of a series of adaptor fittings developed for conveying fluids under pressure, this reducing bush is suitable for potable water, commercial plumbing and industrial pipework applications, offering reliable performance in mixed-standard installations when installed using the correct solvent cement and cleaner.
