This adjustable pressure relief valve kit combines a high-quality brass pressure relief valve with two PVCu composite unions, providing a convenient solution for installation into nominal bore PVC pipe systems. The kit is designed to relieve excess pressure in a controlled manner, helping to protect pipework and connected equipment from overpressure conditions.

The valve features an adjustable spring mechanism, allowing the discharge pressure to be set between 0.5 and 10 bar, and includes a manual test function to support routine operational checks without system shutdown. Suitable for use with gas, steam and liquid media, the valve can also be installed as a bypass valve where controlled pressure relief or circulation is required.

The composite unions feature BSP threaded connections to the valve and plain solvent weld ends for connection to PVC pipe. Supplied unassembled, they allow flexibility during installation and alignment. PTFE tape is recommended when fitting the threaded ends to the valve, while standard PVC solvent cement and cleaner should be used to bond the plain ends to the pipe for a secure, leak-free joint.

Classified as a pressure accessory under the Pressure Equipment Directive, this product is intended for pressure relief and regulation duties only and must not be used as a safety valve.
