Description
This fitting is designed to provide a demountable transition between metric PVC pipework and imperial threaded components. Manufactured from high-quality PVCu, it combines the strength of a solvent weld joint with the flexibility of a removable union connection, making it ideal for installations that require regular access or future modification.
The metric plain socket is solvent-welded onto the pipe, while the imperial BSPP threaded side connects to valves, pumps or other threaded equipment. A central union nut and EPDM sealing ring allow the fitting to be disconnected and reassembled without disturbing the surrounding pipework, ensuring reliable sealing and precise alignment every time.
Suitable for potable water, commercial plumbing and industrial pipework systems, this adaptor union offers a practical and professional solution when combining metric PVC systems with imperial threaded connections.
