Description
This fitting is designed to allow easy disconnection and reconnection of metric PVC pipework without the need to cut the pipe. Manufactured from high-quality PVCu, it provides a durable and corrosion-resistant solution for systems that require regular maintenance, inspection or future modification.
The union features solvent-welded sockets on both ends, combined with a central demountable body and elastomeric seal. Once installed, the union can be undone to separate the pipework while maintaining accurate alignment on reassembly, making it ideal for installations where accessibility is important.
Suitable for potable water, commercial plumbing and industrial pipework systems, this fitting offers a practical balance between permanent solvent weld joints and the flexibility of a removable connection when installed using the correct solvent cement and cleaner.
