Description
This composite union fitting is designed to provide a reliable transition between metric PVCu pipework and threaded metal components. Featuring a solvent weld socket on one side and a brass male BSP threaded end on the other, it allows secure connection into valves, pumps or threaded fittings while maintaining the benefits of a plastic pipe system when installed using the correct solvent cement and cleaner.
The integrated union nut and EPDM seal enable easy assembly and disassembly, making installation, maintenance and system modification far more straightforward. The PVCu body offers excellent chemical resistance and durability, while the brass threaded insert provides strength and long-term thread integrity where metal connections are required. Manufactured to recognised British standards and WRAS approved, it is suitable for use in potable water systems and a wide range of industrial applications.
