Description
The Geberit Mapress Copper Bend 30 is designed to provide a smooth and reliable 30-degree directional change in copper piping systems. This fitting is suitable for potable water installations, as well as open and closed heating and cooling circuits. Using advanced press-fit technology, the copper bend ensures a fast, safe, and fire-free installation without the need for welding or soldering, making it ideal for both new projects and renovations.
Key Features
Durable Copper Material: Manufactured from Cu-DHP copper CW024A (EN 1412), the 30-degree bend is highly resistant to corrosion and wear, providing long-lasting performance in potable water and heating/cooling systems.
No Hot Works Required: The press-fit system eliminates the need for welding or soldering, reducing installation time and labour costs while eliminating fire hazards, making it particularly suitable for confined spaces or living areas.
Leak Detection: The fitting is designed to be leaky if unpressed, allowing installers to quickly identify any missed connections and ensure the system is securely sealed.
Hygienic and Clean Installation: The seal rings are protected from dirt during installation, ensuring a hygienic connection, particularly in potable water systems where cleanliness is essential.
Clear Identification: The fitting features colour-coded indicators to clearly distinguish between materials and application ranges, reducing confusion with third-party products and simplifying installation.
Versatile Application: Suitable for both surface-mounted and concealed installations, the bend offers flexible application options for a wide variety of plumbing and heating systems.
Trusted Technology: With over 30 years of experience in pressing technology, Geberit ensures a reliable and trusted solution for plumbing professionals.

(1) Usable negative pressure for Geberit piping systems: The usable negative pressure results from the air pressure at the installation site minus the absolute pressure of 200 mbar. Example: 980 mbar air pressure - 200 mbar absolute pressure = 780 mbar usable negative pressure in the piping system
(2) Usable negative pressure for Geberit piping systems: The usable negative pressure is calculated on the basis of the air pressure at the place of installation minus the absolute pressure of 200 mbar. Example: 980 mbar air pressure - 200 mbar absolute pressure = 780 mbar usable negative pressure in the piping system
(3) Lifetime with collector standstill: 200 h/a at 180 °C; 60 h/a at 200 °C; total 500 h/lifetime at 220 °C
(4) Use of inhibitors, corrosion-protection agents, antifreeze agents only after approval by Geberit
(5) 10 bar / 1000 kPa for MasterFix and MeplaFix
(6) Approved up to d54 mm
(7) Following Geberit approval
(8) Oil purity class in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010E; for details on moisture and particles, see technical information "Geberit Piping Systems for Compressed Air Installations"
(9) Not for fittings with EPDM, black seal rings
