Description
The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Adaptor Union is designed to connect two pipes within a press-fit system while allowing for easy disconnection and reconnection. This fitting is ideal for high-pressure installations in heating, cooling, and industrial applications where reliable, secure, and flexible connections are required. Its durable construction, which includes a combination of zinc-plated steel and brass, ensures long-lasting performance in a variety of environments.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Equipped with a visual pressing indicator to confirm the fitting has been properly pressed, ensuring a secure and leak-proof connection.
Leak Detection: Leaks if unpressed, providing a safety feature that helps installers quickly identify any unpressed fittings before the system is pressurised.
Zinc-Plated Exterior: The non-alloy steel body is zinc-plated for superior corrosion resistance, making the fitting suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Brass Union Nut: The union nut is made of brass, providing enhanced strength and resistance to corrosion for reliable long-term performance.
CIIR Seal Ring & EPDM Flat Gasket: Features a black CIIR (chlorinated isobutylene-isoprene rubber) seal ring and an EPDM flat gasket, ensuring a strong and durable seal that is resistant to high temperatures (0–100°C).
Pressing Socket with Protection Plug: Includes a transparent protection plug to prevent contamination and damage during storage and transport, ensuring the fitting is clean and ready for installation.
Easy Disconnection & Reconnection: The union design allows for quick disconnection and reconnection, making it ideal for systems requiring future maintenance or modifications.
