Description
The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Female Threaded Union is designed to connect press-fit piping systems to female-threaded components, providing a secure and reliable connection. It allows for easy disconnection and reconnection, making it ideal for high-pressure systems that may require maintenance or modifications. This fitting is commonly used in heating, cooling, and industrial applications due to its durability and robust design.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Equipped with a visual pressing indicator to ensure that the fitting has been properly pressed, guaranteeing a secure and leak-proof connection.
Leak Detection: Leaks if unpressed, offering an additional safety feature by allowing installers to easily identify fittings that haven’t been properly pressed before system pressurisation.
Zinc-Plated Exterior: The non-alloy steel body is zinc-plated, providing excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for a variety of environments, including outdoor and industrial applications.
Brass Union Nut & Gunmetal Adaptor: The union nut is made from brass and the adaptor from gunmetal, providing superior strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion.
CIIR Seal Ring & EPDM Flat Gasket: The black CIIR (chlorinated isobutylene-isoprene rubber) seal ring and EPDM flat gasket ensure a long-lasting, reliable seal in high-pressure conditions, withstanding temperatures from 0 to 100°C.
Pressing Socket with Protection Plug: Comes with a transparent protection plug to safeguard the pressing socket from contaminants and damage during transportation and storage, ensuring readiness for installation.
