Exterior Finish: Zinc-plated for corrosion resistance
Leak Proofing: Leaky when unpressed for installation safety
Thread Type: Female threaded connection for easy integration with threaded pipes
Description
The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Female Threaded Tee is designed to connect three sections of pipe, offering a secure junction for directing flow in various directions within a piping system. This fitting is ideal for use in high-pressure applications, including heating, cooling, and industrial systems. With its combination of a press-fit connection and a female threaded branch, it allows for easy integration with both press-fit and threaded pipework.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Ensures a secure and permanent connection by showing a visual cue during installation, reducing the chance of missed presses.
Leak Detection: Leaks if unpressed, offering an additional layer of safety by indicating improper fitting connection before system pressurisation.
Zinc-Plated Exterior: Provides enhanced protection against corrosion, making the fitting durable in both indoor and outdoor installations.
CIIR Seal Ring: The black CIIR (chlorinated isobutylene-isoprene rubber) seal ring ensures excellent sealing properties, even under high pressure, offering long-lasting reliability.
Pressing Socket with Protection Plug: Comes with a transparent plug to protect the socket during transport and storage, preventing contamination or damage.
Easy Installation: The pressing socket design with indicator simplifies installation, reducing the need for manual checks and improving installation speed.
Versatile Use: Suitable for various applications, including heating, cooling, and compressed air systems in commercial or industrial setups.
