Description
This fitting is designed to connect metric PVC pipework to imperial threaded components within the same system. Manufactured from high-quality PVCu, it provides a strong and corrosion-resistant transition between solvent weld metric pipe and BSPP threaded fittings such as valves, pumps or equipment connections.
One end features a metric plain socket for solvent welding, while the opposite end incorporates an imperial parallel thread to ISO 228-1. This combination allows for a secure, pressure-rated connection while maintaining compatibility with standard imperial threaded components commonly found in existing installations.
Suitable for potable water, commercial plumbing and industrial pipework applications, this adaptor socket offers a clean and reliable solution when bridging metric PVC systems with imperial threaded equipment when installed using the correct solvent cement and cleaner, all while complying with recognised UK and European standards.
