PVC Metric Reducing Socket

This metric PVCu reducing socket is designed to connect two lengths of PVC pipe with different outside diameters, allowing for a smooth and controlled reduction within a solvent weld system. It is commonly used where system layouts change size due to flow requirements, space constraints or equipment connections.

Manufactured from rigid PVCu, the socket provides excellent resistance to corrosion, scaling and a wide range of chemicals. When installed correctly using the appropriate solvent cement and cleaner, it forms a strong, permanent joint with the pipe, resulting in a neat and professional finish across the system.
