Unlike loose hoses that can cause accidents or premature wear, a retractable air hose reel provides smooth payout and controlled rewind. PCL reels feature mechanisms such as slow retraction systems (taking up to 9 seconds) to enhance safety, adjustable stoppers to control hose length, and built-in cleaning brushes to prevent debris entering the reel. These features ensure reliable performance with minimal maintenance.

All models are supplied with a fitted leader hose, equipped with BSPT threaded connections, and are suitable for compressed air only.

Can you use an air hose reel for water?
No. PCL Air Hose Reels are designed exclusively for compressed air and should not be used with water or other fluids, as this may damage the reel or pose safety risks.

How to mount an air hose reel on a wall?
Most PCL reels come with a wall-mounting bracket. Simply secure the bracket to a solid wall with the fixings provided, then attach the reel. Some models allow ceiling mounting for extra flexibility.

How to connect an air compressor to a hose reel?
Use the fitted leader hose supplied with the reel to connect directly to your air compressor outlet. Ensure the BSPT threaded fittings are securely tightened for a leak-free connection.

How to install an air hose reel?
Installation involves mounting the reel (wall, ceiling or bench top), connecting the leader hose to your compressor, and securing the outlet hose to your tools. Full instructions are supplied with each PCL reel.
