These 90° tees have a push-in tube end suited to tubing with an outer diameter of 4mm to 12mm while the threaded end off of the tee's branch is 1/8" to 1/2" in diameter.
The BSPP threaded ends of these Acetal fittings are designed to be hand tightened and have a maximum torque value of 1.5Nm on 1/8" fittings and 3.0Nm up to 1/2" fittings. Overtightening of the fittings can result in undue stress and failure. They can be used within compressed air or pneumatic flow and vacuum systems.
Tube inserts must be used with pneumatic applications where pressures are in excess of 10 bar; you should not exceed 16 bar. Suitable for use with Polyethylene, Polyurethane, Nylon tubing as well as soft metal tubings such as copper or mild steel.
